Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation, healing, and energy alignment. It is a hands-on or visualization of touch that creates an energy flow from the hands of the practitioner to the client’s different spots or chakras on the body. The client may experiences tension release, relaxation, a general sense of ease, the release of stuck emotions, and or stress reduction during or after a Reiki session. . Reiki is a special kind of healing energy that can only be channeled by someone who has received the Placement or attunement for it. Reiki is guiding itself with its own wisdom, rather than requiring the direction of the practitioner. The practitioner is just the channel for the Reiki energy to be given to you. Toxins can be stored in our bodies due to our relationships and environments, Reiki can help release these toxins and changes can take place in the quality of our emotions and in our consciousness which then affect our relationships and environments. Reiki can never cause harm and can only heal. Healing can look different for each person, sometimes it’s immediate release or relaxation and for others, healing may be felt days/weeks later after a session with a sense of calm or happiness.
What a Reiki session would look like
When you contact me, we will decide if you want an in-person or Zoom Reiki appointment. I will check in with you and review your goals and intentions for your session. I will clear all interference and work with you to enter a calm and healing space. You can either lie down or sit in a chair and I will conduct a Byosen Scan in which I will find energy blocks within your Charka centers. I will continue to channel Reiki energy thru me by placing hand on or above places on your body that I feel directed to release or give energy to. Laying or holding hands is a quiet and relaxing time for you and can last approximately 30-40 mins. At the end of the session, we will review your experience and I will provide you any feedback that I picked up that could benefit your healing. Reiki may feel like cooling or heat in your body. People have reported feeling different parts of their body tingle. You may also feel emotions released or have thoughts or imagines come to you. Sometimes, you may feel as if nothing happened in the session but days later may feel a release or lightness or peace/happiness. Reiki is a different experience for everyone, and no session is the same experience. Reiki can do no harm. Sessions are 50-60 minutes.

Sometimes we can connect to negative energies such as a toxic relationship or work environment, and Reiki is able to cut energy cords from people, places, and situations. Reiki is used to find peace, relax, and center and it is also helpful for people who want to change or eliminate unwanted habits such as overeating, and addictions to drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes. Reiki can be sent to the past for healing traumas that have occurred and it can be sent to the future if you are facing a challenging or difficult situation. I am trained with the William Lee Rand teachings of Reiki.
